Going beyond halal certi\ufb01cation and enforcement, towards educating and encouraging non-Muslims to support halal establishments. In recent years, there is signi\ufb01cant increase in the number of halal-certi\ufb01ed restaurants in Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Bangkok and Singapore. Taiwan and Thailand are fast-becoming important halal food-production and exporting countries.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\"><li>Making it easier for the Muslim public to obtain reliable information on existing halal eating establishments and products.
