This approach is considered to be more practical than attempting to standardize a uniform Islamic education program and curriculum. In addition, instead of trying to \u201cre-invent\u201d Islamic education curriculum and da\u2019wah program from scratch, it may be more productive to study the existing programs of other organizations worldwide, and to copy (as well as translate) whatever appealing ideas that one can \ufb01nd. In 2012, RISEAP published a book entitled \u201cExplaining Islamic Belief Across Cultures\u201d with the objective of sharing experiences in in cross-cultural dawah, in the context of plural societies.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\"><li>There is a need to recognize and learn from the rapid advancements in audio-visual technology and higher standards of printing and presentation of information. In addition, there is a need to recognize and learn from the development of new platforms for distant-learning that appeal to a younger generation of Muslims. Member organizations can bene\ufb01t from observing, learning and adapting these new technologies for their education and da\u2019wah programs.<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Development and refinement in the content of Islamic education and da\u2019wah.
